End of 2007!

If someone had asked me a few years back if I would ever become a photographer, my answer probably would have been "no". It was only a little over a year ago when I discovered my deepest passion for photography. I didn't know anything about photography then. But I believed that I could learn and do it if I wanted it so bad. With strong determination and a Canon Rebel XT in my hand, I began my journey to exploring the world of event photography.

It was January of this year when I was first hired to shoot a big time birthday party of a thirteen year old. I had so much fun doing it that I wanted to keep going. April of this year was when I first assisted/second shoot a wedding with my wedding photographer Andrea Price(http://andreasimages.com/). I worked on a few weddings with her after that and I realized that wedding photography is what I really wanted to do. Thanks to Andrea for giving me the opportunity.

In the middle of this year I approached a local studio Sharpe Photographers(http://sharpephotographers.com/) in search for an opportunity to do weddings. Jeremy Underwood of Sharpe Photographers hired me to assist and second shoot with him this year. I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to work with and learn from Jeremy. He is awesome to work with!

The year 2007 is when I've grown into becoming a wedding photographer. I have assisted and shot weddings along with family portrait sessions and other private events. This has been a great year for me as a beginner pro. I consider myself very blessed to be able to get here today. My inspirations are countless - all the awesome photographers and their work out there inspire me; the beauty, the emotions, the special moments in lives motivate me to keep going and do better each time. I know I have a lot to learn, a long way to go and the thought of it pushes me to go further. But without my husband I couldn't do any of it. Thanks my beloved, without you, I couldn't have discovered the photographer in me!
